Dear Members of the Kerala Diaspora Across Canada,

We are pleased to invite you to the 4th National ONAM Celebration at Parliament, taking place on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 5:30 PM at the Sir John A. Macdonald Building, 144 Wellington St., Ottawa.

Over the past three years, this celebration has brought together Malayalees from across Canada—sharing our vibrant heritage on Parliament Hill through cultural performances, traditional cuisine, and meaningful inter-community connections.

This year’s event is another opportunity to proudly showcase the strength, unity, and cultural richness of the Kerala community to Parliamentarians and the broader Canadian society.

We warmly welcome:

 • Cultural performers and volunteers to participate

 • Community organizations to share a 1–2 minute photo or video message about their association, activities, and Onam wishes to Canadian Malayalees — to be featured at the event and on our social media pages

 • Supporters, performers, volunteers, media, and community partners, who will be acknowledged during the celebration

 • Organizations and associations wishing to receive a Certificate of Participation — please share your details in advance so we can coordinate with MP Michael Barrett’s office

 • Individuals or businesses interested in supporting or sponsoring the celebration — kindly contact the Organizing Committee for opportunities to get involved

This event is open to all — not just members of the Canadian Malayalee diaspora. We warmly welcome people from all backgrounds and encourage you to bring your colleagues, friends, and family.

Registration is mandatory, but admission is free and open to everyone. All attendees must present valid photo ID for entry into the venue.

Ona Sadya will be served to all registered participants. Registration will follow a first-come, first-served basis, and full details will be announced soon.

We encourage everyone to attend in traditional ethnic attire and be part of this national celebration of heritage and harmony.
